We are looking for a Project Safety Supervisor for a construction site in Glendive, MT.

In this position you will report to the Project Manager and work under the direction of the Regional Safety Manager to administer the Ames safety program, owner safety requirements, and site-specific safety, health, and environmental requirements.

Salary pay is based on experience and is $72,000 annually.

We are looking for local candidates in and around the Glendive, MT area and will not provide relocation costs.
Education requirements
• Bachelor's/associate's degree recommended
Experience requirements
• 3-5 years’ experience with construction safety background
Qualifications
• OSHA and MSHA regulation knowledge is expected
• Authorized OSHA 500 trainer
• Must be a team player
Responsibilities
• Be thoroughly familiar with all corporate safety policies, programs and procedures.
• Be familiar with all active work on the Project including subcontractor work.
• Conduct and/or oversee project safety inspections and audits.
• Assist in the development and implementation of field-developed safety procedures.
• Be a resource to the Project Management teams on issues of safety and health.
• Be thoroughly familiar with applicable regulatory agency standards.
• Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation training.
• Administer the Ames onsite substance abuse testing program including the collection of samples to be submitted for testing and all necessary paperwork.
• Conduct and/or oversee project safety communications (safety meetings and training).
• Maintain all required regulatory agency and internal documentation relating to safety and health.
• Interact with regulatory agencies that may inspect or visit the project site.
• Conduct and/or oversee applicable employee health monitoring.
• Conduct and/or oversee job hazard analysis and control measures.
• Respond to and investigate job accidents and hazards.
• Provide technical expertise relating to occupational safety and health to project safety as well as craft and supervisory personnel.
• Budget, purchase, distribute and maintain safety related equipment.
• Meet regularly with the Regional Safety Manager and report safety activities.
• Maintain all fire protection devices at the project.
• Coordinate safety matters with the Client as required.
